Hoshi

Away from normal bustling city life; secluded and yet, located in an area with easily accessible train stations (ie awazu - free shuttle bus service and komatsu). Only 15-20 mins walk to Japan Motorcars Museum. The daily onsen in the afternoon from day-trip was a welcoming time to relax and soothe the tired body. The daily private kaiseki breakfast and dinner took away our worries for food (our first experience to have an in-room maidservant to guide and serve us through the various courses of Kaiseki). Very lovely and top-notched for the price and qualities received.

Well preserved traditional hot-spring hotel. The breakfast is individually served, 6 star with a server standby. Good service. Beautiful garden around the hotel.
